Dear friends of the Vietnamese community in Belgium,

United Nations for a Free Tibet (UNFFT) is organizing a peaceful demonstration for Freedom, Democracy & Human Rights ("FDHR") in Brussels (Belgium) on December 10, international human rights day.

This demonstration in Brussels is a joint action of UNFFT, RTYC Belgium (the Regional Tibetan Youth Congress Belgium) and the Free China from CCP Alliance Europe (of which I'm also a board member, I'm the representative of UNFFT). We have already the support of the Tibetan community and the Uyghur, and there will also be people of the Chinese democratic movement.

As freedom, democracy and human rights are universal we would like to invite the people from Vietnam to join us. We believe it's most important to join hands and stand up together. In this way we can make our message more clear to the world, and give a powerful signal. Therefore we want to ask your support and if possible also the participation of representatives of the Vietnamese community to this demonstration.

I have sent an application for the permission for this demonstration to the Police and Mayor of Brussels and I'm awaiting their answer. I have suggested the following program:

• Start of the demonstration at 13.00 o'clock in front of the European Commission (Square Schumann); there we can first hold speeches by representatives of the different groups and public figures
  
• At 13.45 o'clock we do a freedom march through the city and the Jubel Parc to the Chinese embassy in Brussels (this will take about 45-50 min.)
  
• In front of the Chinese embassy we demonstrate for at least one hour, until 16.00 o'clock.
